A Random Thought

My technical support staff is at the gym and I can’t figure out how to get my pictures from my IPOD to her IPAD to my computer. I will have more posts going up tonight but just wanted to say hi and hope everyone had a great Christmas. I’ve noticed since starting this site that I have been getting many hits on my vegetarian posts and have also had some very nice comments as well. WordPress allows you to follow your stats etc and I’ve already had one hit from Japan which is pretty cool. The internet is amazing.

There will be many vegetarian posts on here as I pretty much eat meat once or twice a week at most. Now this is where I actually get to my point. I don’t want people to think that the vegetarian meals on here can’t be served as great side dishes to go with meat. Most sites give you the meat and potatoes first, followed by vegetarian options. Many of my posts will be the opposite. Please don’t hesitate to click on the vegetarian meals and give them a try. I wont be throwing recipes on here that I haven’t tried myself ,and I try to keep them as flavorful as possible.  Any of the meals on here can be served as a side dish with a complimentary cuisine. Here is a couple of examples.

Serve the lentil soup and tabouleh salad with marinated chicken kebabs. Choose a complimentary marinade such as olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin and a pinch of cinnamon.

The Moroccan roasted vegetable could be served with roasted leg of lamb or braised short ribs with Moroccan spices, figs, and red wine etc.

My post coming later on tonight is very adaptable as well. I’m going to start adding more options so stay tuned.  As always I welcome comments and questions. I look forward to hearing from you, Ken
